Ogun State, listen carefully.
2027 is not business as usual.
For 24 years we have voted for politicians who talk well, share well, and promise well.
And after 24 years, what do we have to show for it?
Our industries are still closing because there is no power.
Our roads are still bad 3 months after commissioning.
Our graduates are still roaming with certificates in their hands.
- It is time we ask ourselves one serious question:
In 2027, do we want TRADERS to continue running Ogun, or do we want ENGINEERS to build Ogun?
LET’S UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE
A TRADER sees government as a market.
When there is a problem, a trader asks: “How much can I make from this?”
Power is out? The answer is a press conference and “we are working on it.”
Road is bad? The answer is award contract to cousin, collect 30%, and deliver substandard work.
Youths are jobless? The answer is share 10k today, take picture, and forget them tomorrow.
Traders are good at buying and selling. They are good at negotiation.
But traders cannot design a power grid. Traders cannot calculate how many megawatts Agbara needs to run 24 hours. Traders cannot build a factory.
That is why, despite all our money and resources, Ogun is still struggling.
AN ENGINEER sees government as a project.
When there is a problem, an engineer asks: “What is the root cause? What is the design? What is the timeline?”
Power is out? The engineer says: “This is a technical problem. Let us build dedicated feeders for industrial zones. Let us put 1MW solar in every LGA. Let us maintain it.”
Road is bad? The engineer says: “Let us use the right materials. Let us set KPIs. Let us publish progress every month for citizens to see.”
Youths are jobless? The engineer says: “Let us train 10,000 of them in Solar Installation, Automation, and Plant Maintenance with German certification. Then let us give them light so factories can employ them.”
Engineers don’t shout too much. But when they finish, the system works. And it works for 30 years.
THIS IS WHY OGO IPINLE OGUN IS DIFFERENT

To the youth in Ijebu: Do you want handouts, or do you want an Ogun that produces and exports to the world?
Ogun has everything: land, people, location, and brain.
The only thing missing is technical leadership.
2027 is a choice between two futures.
If we choose TRADERS, we will get more speeches, more sharing, and more of the same problems.
If we choose ENGINEERS, we will get *Ogo Ipinle Ogun* — The Pride of Ogun State.
A man who has spent 30 years building systems in the most disciplined country on earth is ready to come home and build Ogun.
