The passing of Dr. Paul Hussaini Okeku Amodu is a profound loss, not only to his family and the people of Obakolo, but also to the medical profession, Igala land, Kogi State, and Nigeria as a whole. His departure marks the end of a remarkable life devoted to healing, public service, and the advancement of humanity.
Dr. Paul Hussaini Okeku Amodu belonged to a generation of medical practitioners who regarded medicine not merely as a profession, but as a sacred calling. He understood that the true measure of a physician lies not only in clinical competence but also in compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of others. Throughout his distinguished career, he embodied these virtues with quiet dignity and consistency.
As a medical doctor, he earned widespread respect for his professional excellence, sound judgment, and deep concern for the wellbeing of his patients. Whether serving in the public health sector or through private medical practice, he became known as a dependable physician whose doors were always open to those in need.
