THERE IS NO DEATH

Today, June 20, 2026, folks in my extended Osuji family gathered in their ancestral home in Owerri to bury their dead.
I am not with them. I am not with them because I know that the cousins they are burying did not die; they left the abode of energy and matter and are living elsewhere. I do not have to participate in the fear-based ceremony where their Catholic priest celebrates a requiem mass and commits the souls of the departed to God.
If God allowed his sons to suffer and die and their bodies to be eaten by worms, he is not a loving God; he is a cruel monster and is not to be worshipped.
God knows nothing of death, and there is no death.
Folks are afraid of death; they think that they live, may be to be one hundred and twenty years old and die, disappear into oblivion, or if they believe in God, he welcomes them into his heaven. Welcoming folks into his heaven after they have already died is not an act of benevolence but cruelty.
First, let us see what the human body is made of. The human body is composed of about 64 chemical elements, the main ones are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, calcium, iron, copper, magnesium, potassium, etc. These elements are different arrangements of electrons, protons, and neutrons. Protons and neutrons (in the nucleus of atoms) are composed of quarks; electrons are directly made from light.
These elements were produced by energy. Energy transformed itself into mass, matter; energy, and mass are used to make forms like the human body, animal bodies, plants, planets, stars, and everything in the universe. Albert Einstein conclusively demonstrated that if you square the speed of light, it transforms into mass.
The speed of light is 186, 282 miles per second. Multiply that by itself, and energy transforms into mass. See Einstein’s E=Mc2 Equation.
Everything in the universe of matter, right now, if subjected to excessive heat, will be transformed back into energy.
The universe began as energy; that energy transformed into matter, and in the end, all matter will transform back to energy. What began as energy, in trillions of years, will end in energy (protons will be the last to decay to energy).
The bodies of the beloved dead ones are in matter; over time, they will decay to chemical elements, and those decay to protons, neutrons, and electrons, and those decay to energy (light, heat, motion, sound, electricity, and chemicals). These are scientific facts.
Who produced energy and mass? Science teaches that they just appeared from nothing and nowhere. 13.8 billion years ago, out of nowhere and nothing, energy in the form of light and heat appeared, exploded, and formed photons, and those combined to form electrons, and quarks; quarks formed protons and neutrons; electrons, protons, and neutrons combined to form atoms, beginning with the simplest atom, hydrogen.
They also formed antimatter; matter and antimatter attacked each other, but instead of annihilating themselves back to energy, some remained to continue our matter-based universe.
We know the trajectory of the universe; subatomic particles combined to form atoms; hydrogen was the first atom to form; over time, clouds of hydrogen are separated into clumps, and gravity pushes each clump inwards, and hydrogen fuses to helium, releasing light and heat, and stars are formed.
There came into being trillions and trillions of stars (separated into groups called galaxies); our galaxy is the Milky Way Galaxy; it contains over 200 billion stars; it takes light over 100,000 light-years to traverse it from one end to the other.
Stars have life cycles; they begin, age, and when the nuclear synthesis reaches iron, they explode in a supernova, and in the process, all elements beyond iron are formed. The elements are spilled into space (and are nebular).
The inner core of the exploded stars forms black holes (where not even light can escape from their event horizons, or neutron stars that spin at incredible speeds).
The elements spit out by supernova, over time, aggregate into medium-sized stars and planets, asteroids, and comets.
Our star, the Sun, and its nine planets were formed from exploded massive stars, four and a half billion years ago, and will last another five billion years (when it exhausts its hydrogen) before it dies in a supernova.
Over time, all stars will die in supernovas, and the universe itself will decay to protons that decay to energy and end. The universe is expanding at an increasing rate, and that leads to galaxies losing heat and the consequent decay of stars.
According to contemporary biology, human life and biological life in general began in a pool of water. In a pool of water, all the elements required to form cells, such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, etc., accidentally gathered. Heat from lightning struck that pool of water and provided a heating source that combined the elements to form cells. First, single cells were formed, and those combined to form multicells. Evolution eventually combined those cells to form complex biological organisms, such as plants and animals, and ultimately, human beings evolved in Africa about 300, 000 years ago, and from Africa spread to all parts of the world.
In 1952, Professors Miller and Ury at the University of Chicago placed all the required chemical elements in a test tube and heated them to see if they would form cells, but they did not. This raises doubt as to whether Charles Darwin’s vaunted claim that human beings evolved from animals is true.
There seems to be intelligence at work in the universe. The nature of that intelligence is not yet understood; I have not understood it.
As Stephen Hawking asked, who knows the mind of God? Why did God even bother creating this world, the man asked? I do not know!
The death of our bodies is the returning of our bodies to the elements from which they are formed, and from those elements to energy. Our bodies were formed from energy and eventually return to energy and continue to be part of the energy and mass in the universe until the universe ends.
The question is this: Are we more than energy and mass? Yes. We are spirits having experience in bodies. Let me explain.

GOD

There is God. God is not in human form. He is formless spiritual light. God has parts, units (which we can anthropomorphize and call his sons).
God and his parts, units, and sons have existed forever and ever; they have no beginning and no end.
God is the idea of the whole Self; the sons of God are the ideas of the parts of the whole Self. God and his sons exist. If you can conceive of their nonexistence, then there is no you to make that conceptualization!
God and his sons are formless spirits and have minds. They use their minds for thinking and imagining whatever they want to create and play with.

THE ORIGIN OF THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE

The idea of being more powerful than their father entered the minds of the sons of God. They cannot achieve that desire, but it persists. They cast magic, Maya on their minds, and seem to have gone to sleep, and in their sleep project physical energy and transform it to matter and use energy and matter to form the physical universe of matter, space, and time.
Over time, they used energy and matter to form their bodies and thereafter seem to have entered the bodies of certain animals and are currently walking around in the bodies of animals called human beings.
Each human being came into existence because he wished to be more powerful than his creator, God, and also more powerful than other sons of God. He currently sees space and time between himself and other sons of God.
Each son of God has a self-concept and self-image that he developed in his childhood, using his body and social experience as building blocks.
The self-concept says that he is the most powerful being on earth and is separated from other people and from God. He can live in this illusion for up to 120 years and seems to die.
Since his body is made of matter, it decays into elements, which decay to particles, which decay to energy.
Energy and matter eventually decay to the nothingness from which the sons of God conjured them out.
The sons of God themselves, at no time, were inside their bodies, inside physical energy and matter. They are always inside God as part of his formless Self, but while there, they dream that they are in a universe they made, our universe of space, time, and matter, and each seems to live in a body that is born and will die.

WORLD OF LIGHT FORMS

In the dream, they seem to be born in a body and die. What actually happens upon what people call death is that you, a son of God, suddenly see yourself outside your body (I am speaking from my personal experience here).
You momentarily look at the lump of flesh that you had hitherto called your body. You look up and see darkness, and in the middle of that darkness, there is a point of light. You feel drawn to that light. As you get closer, it becomes everywhere. You enter that light. In it, you see a world that still looks like the world you just left behind. You see people, animals, trees, stars, and planets. You see your parents, if they are dead, you see those you grew up with, if they are dead.
You notice that, whereas everything is in form, their forms are not solid. You can walk through a wall, a tree, or a person’s body. People and things are in light forms. You yourself are now in light form.
You see people in light form doing what people do on earth. People are at distinct levels of spiritual evolution, so in the world of light forms, there are teachers and students. You see highly evolved souls teaching less evolved souls. There are the Buddhas and Christs there.
Those interested in physics also study physics over there, so you see folks like Galileo Galilie, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Ernest Rutherford, Neil Bohr, Werner Heisenberg, Erwin Schrodinger, Paul Dirac, Louis de Broglie, Marie and Pierre Curie, J.J Thompson, James Clerk Maxwell, Murray Gell Mann, George Lametre, Edwin Hubble, Fred Hoyle, etc., teaching students.
Simply stated, you see a world that still looks like our world with people and things in light forms.

THE WORLDS OF SEEMING SOLID AND LIGHT FORMS ARE ILLUSIONS

Our world of seeming solid forms and the world of seeming light forms are both illusions; they are not real. They are play worlds that the sons of God invented to play that they are powerful and separated from each other. Only the formless world of God is real. It is real because it is permanent, eternal, and changeless. The real is permanent, and the unreal is transitory, ephemeral, and is always changing.

THE FORMLESS WORLD OF IDEAS, AKA HEAVEN AND GOD AND HIS SONS

If, while on planet earth, you evolved to a point where you accept that there is God and that he is more powerful than you, that is, that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that all people and things are unified and cannot be separated, and you loved and forgave those who wronged you, you will pause in the world of light forms and thereafter proceed to the world of Formless Self, what folks call heaven.
In heaven, there is just spiritual light with connected particles, aka units. All the joined units know themselves as part of the entire light; the entire light is God; we are units of that God.
Although God is beyond our understanding, to have an idea of who and what he is, visualize a field of light. That light has waves and particles. The wave is all of us acting in tandem, in concert, and each of us is a particle of it. The whole light is God, and we are his parts, units.
In the formless light, we are eternal, permanent, and changeless, at peace and happy. As we talk, all of us are still in that field of light, but while in it, we seem to have gone to sleep and dream ourselves on earth, in bodies born to die, or in an improved version of our earth called the world of light forms, the astral world.
Our world and that astral world are false, illusions; only the world of God is real.

REINCARNATION

While in the world of light forms, if one is still attracted to living in flesh, on earth, one makes plans, chooses one’s parents and society, and reincarnates on earth. One can also choose to manifest in other universes; there are infinite universes that one can go to experience what they offer.
Some people return to the formless universe of oneself, aka heaven and its God. Those who have evolved so highly that they can return to God actually do not have to die on earth. They can use their minds to make their bodies disappear, and make the physical universe disappear for them, and they first see themselves in the universe of light forms and thereafter experience the formless universe of God. Not too many people have attained this level of spiritual evolution. Folks like Buddha and Jesus Christ have.
The point I am making here is that there is no death, that death occurs in the dream of separation from God and our real self, but, in fact, no one separates from his real self, and no one dies.
Energy and matter were produced by all of us acting collectively to enable us to play that we are in forms, dense or light forms.
Energy and matter ultimately are nothing and do not exist. They were conjured out of nothing, and when we are done playing with them, they return to the nothingness from where we conjured them.
There is no death. The sons of God remain as their father created them, eternal. While eternal in their father, they have dreams of themselves as mortals, as living in forms, light or dense. In these dreams, they seem born and die. Birth and death are illusions, both part of the play, drama of separation from our true unified spirit self.

DISCUSSION

We are all the sons of God. We sought power and superiority over each other and God. We cannot attain those wishes while in God and heaven. We made ourselves seem to go to sleep and forget our same and equal selves and manifest on earth where the illusion of separation, power, and superiority are possible, albeit in illusions.
We play our make-belief game where we seem immensely powerful, some superior, and some inferior, and then seem to die.
If you want to return to our true home, unified state, aka heaven, you have to realize that we are eternally connected, joined as one shared self. Because we are connected, you and other people are one. You therefore love yourself, love other people, and love God.
Love for all people and forgiving those who wronged you, and working to correct our mistakes, is a way of leaving the separate world.
If you are truly a loving and forgiving person, upon your so-called death, you briefly see yourself in the world of light forms and thereafter proceed to the world of formless light. In God, the Christian metaphor says that you live on the right-hand side of God, as Jesus Christ does.
From that God state, you join God’s Holy Spirit in teaching those still on earth what they have to do to return to heaven.
When we seem to have separated from God and each other, God created the Holy Spirit and placed him in our metaphoric right minds (the ego is in our metaphoric left minds).
The ego adapts to the exigencies of the separated world. The Holy Spirit asks us to love and forgive all because we are one.
The ego first speaks because we came to the world of separated selves to live as separated selves. The Holy Spirit advises us that we are one shared self, so we ought to love and forgive all. He does not force us to do anything.
One is the Son of God and chooses what to do. You choose to listen to the ego or listen to the Holy Spirit. The choice is yours to make.
You can make that decision now or in the so-called future. You have trillions of years to realize that all of us are one shared self, and you love all of us to love your real self.
If you have already made that choice and love all people and forgive those who wronged you, on earth you live in peace and happiness, and upon death you proceed to the state of oneness, heaven, God, and from there join folks like Buddha and Jesus Christ in teaching those on earth to love and forgive all.
On earth itself, some of us teach folks to love and forgive all of us. Our counterparts in heaven are the world teachers of God, whereas those of us on earth are local teachers of God.
Ministers of God teach all of us to love and forgive all of us.

CONCLUSION

As noted at the beginning of this paper, two folks died in my kindred, and our folks, from all over Africa and the world, gather to bury them.
My kindred are their people’s high priests. I seem lost in the Western world, not around our world, to perform their priestly duties.
From wherever I am, I am telling the folks that they do not die but merely transit to the world of light forms or to other universes, and the highly evolved ones return to the formless world of God, as the prodigal son returns to his father and ends his journey to nowhere, a journey without a distance because wherever we think that we went, we were in God.
Folks in the family bury their dead, but the mystics in their mist know that there is no death. The so-called dead are either in the world of light forms or gone to other dimensions or will return to our world. They are unlikely to return to the formless world of God, for that privilege is for those who, while on earth, have given up their identification with ego and body and have experienced unity with God while still on earth.
This paper is written in metaphors. No one on earth, even those who have experienced God, can explain God. As Lao Tzu said in Tao Te Ching, the Tao that can be explained is not the Tao.
God is beyond explanation; even Buddha refused to try explaining God and just told people that they suffer because they have desires to be powerful and separated from God and each other, that to eliminate their suffering, they have to stop desiring power and separation, and they must have compassion for all people.
Love and forgive all people, and that is all any enlightened son of God can say about God. We have only begun understanding our physical universe and talk more about the universe of the unified spirit.
In our universe, 73% of it is dark energy and is unknown to us, 23% of it is dark matter and is also unknown to us; we know nothing about 96% of the universe of dark energy and dark matter, and are only beginning to understand less than one percent of the four percent of the universe that is visible.
How can we, ignorant as we are, understand God? Yet God is real. God is the only reality there is. The rest are illusions, shifting sand.
