ADEMOLA RABIU, CEng
Ademola Rabiu is a Chartered Engineer, academic, researcher, and strategic adviser whose multidisciplinary career spans engineering, higher education, project development, and cross-border investment consulting across Africa and beyond.
He holds advanced qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Project Management, and Investment and International Trade Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of the Western Cape, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and Durban University of Technology. He also held an academic appointment at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
His academic and professional journey includes faculty and research positions at Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Cape Town, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and the University of the Western Cape. Across these institutions, he established a reputation for rigorous scholarship and the practical application of research to industry challenges.
As a consultant, Ademola works at the intersection of strategic management, project financing, and stakeholder engagement. He advises organisations and institutions on structuring, financing, and delivering complex, high-value initiatives.
In recognition of his leadership and professional accomplishments, he has received awards from Chevron and the University of Cape Town.
Ademola believes that Africa’s development must be anchored in strong public institutions, equitable social policies, and purposeful regional cooperation. He identifies with welfare and social democracy, democratic socialism, and the Nordic model of governance. A committed Pan-Africanist, he believes Africa’s progress depends on its people telling their own stories, defining their priorities, and shaping their collective future.
He currently serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Novus Integrated Solutions Ltd.
