The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, alongside members of his management team, has received the newly appointed Coordinator of the Ogun State Security Network Agency (Amotekun) Corps, Ewekoro Command, SC Akinsola Susan O., during a courtesy visit to his office.
The Chairman warmly welcomed the new Coordinator and assured her of the Local Government’s total support and cooperation towards the effective discharge of the Corps’ security responsibilities across Ewekoro.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa disclosed that the Local Government is already making arrangements for a new office for the Amotekun Corps within the Local Government Secretariat, describing the move as part of his administration’s commitment to strengthening security and community safety.
In her response, the Coordinator, SC Akinsola Susan O., expressed her appreciation to the Chairman and his management team for the warm reception and continued support for the Amotekun Corps. She also drew the Chairman’s attention to the Amotekun office at Wasimi, noting the need for additional support to improve the office environment and make it more conducive for effective operations.
The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) commended the Amotekun Corps for its contributions to security in Ewekoro over the past five years and called for greater collaboration and stronger synergy between the Local Government and the security agency.
Also present at the meeting were the Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Local Government, Head of Local Government Administration, and Administrative Officer, among other members of the management team.
The meeting further reinforced the importance of sustained cooperation between the Ewekoro Local Government and the Amotekun Corps in promoting peace, safety, and security throughout the local government area.
