People will forget how you smell today/how expensive your cologne is, They will forget how stylish you look to the party but they will not forget how you made them feel when you had nothing to gain. That is what I will call excellent character.
In this generation, people have stopped bothering themselves with appearances, unreal lifestyles and how rich your purse is. Everyone cares so much about the kind of character that you exhibit. Examples of such characters are:
1.Being polite/ corteous and respectful even to people younger than you.
2. Being humble and not being prideful towards your peers and others.
3. Not raising your voice in anger when you have to talk or instruct people of lower ranks.
4. Doing unto others exactly what you want them to do to you.
5. Attitudes and manners of approach airs your voice louder than the microphone.
6.Being truthful and honest in your dealings, avoid cheating others. E.t.c.
7. Keeping to your words as much as possible, fulfil your own part of the bargain.
Talents/skills/ Intelligence can open a doors of opportunity for us. But it takes excellent character to keep you in the room.
Excellent character is not perfection. It simply means you try your best to give the best of you wherever you find yourself.
