YEPARIPA! EVEN AFRICAN INTELLECTUALS DEY DO “ROFOROFO”! 😂🔥

Who told you professors only exchange grammar and quote textbooks? Come to Matto’s village square—you will discover that big English can also wear boxing gloves! 🥊🤣

For over 25 years, Matto has been keeping our discussion forums alive with fierce debates, heavyweight contributors and enough intellectual AKARA to keep the fire burning!

That journey led to the launch of the iconic Chatafrik.com on June 12, 2004, in Maryland, USA, with some of Africa’s internet heavy hitters in attendance.

Pictured here is our beloved late Prof. George Ayittey, the formidable Ghanaian intellectual and fearless debater, who brought his favourite “CUTLASS” to the Chatafrik launch party—to “scare” Moderator Matto and his team of Moderators! 😂

Ah! Oga Professor! We invited you to a launching party, not to clear farmland! 🌿🤣

Those were unforgettable days—big personalities, powerful arguments and friendships that reached beyond our computer screens.

We fondly remember Prof. Ayittey and the intellectual fire he brought to our village square. May his memory continue to inspire. 🕊️

At Matto Network Groups, we value the contributors who keep our forums vibrant and the writers whose words enrich Chatafrik.com. ✍️

Our tent is big enough. Our village square still has room.

Oya, join us! Bring your ideas, sharpen your arguments—and leave the real cutlass at home! 😂🔥

Kind regards,
Moderator Matto
