Winston Churchill said : “if you are going through hell, please keep going…”
It sounds like a laughable joke but the truth is there is light at the end of the tunnel, mummy joy will visit you in the morning and you are close to the breaking of the dawn before you know it.
I have never seen a man who doesn’t face challenges but what matters is our response to condition.
Perseverance is the continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, obstacles, or opposition.
Perseverance is related to endurance but the transformation, change of character, learning and growth that takes place with perseverance is the icing on the cake for you.
Gold is refined when it goes through fire, gold will always remain in fire until it changes into something beautiful and worthwhile. If our gold refuses to change in fire. Then it is never gold, it must be an ordinary metal.
Enough Comparison, The refining process of gold and the ability not to give up is what I call “perseverance”.
Resilience is also related to perseverance and it is the ability to recover, adapt, and bounce back quickly after experiencing stress, failure or a challenging condition.
Whether you are going through” what seems like hell right now”. (Health Challenges, Divorce (your marriage is at the breaking point), Financial Challenges, Career Limitations, Childlessness Sick Child, False accusations, Single mother etc. make sure you don’t give up on yourself. Persevere, endure and at the end of the day, ensure it transforms you into a better person and bounce back (resilience) like the strong person that you are. Resilience also matters, getting out of it and bouncing back that is the display of inner strength, tears won’t change anything.
In conclusion, Roy T wrote that : “Never lose hope. Storms make people stronger and never last forever” and this too shall pass away.
