About the Author
Ali Ya’u Haruna is a Nigerian writer, young administrator, poet, storyteller, public speaker, human rights advocate, and youth development enthusiast.
His writing draws inspiration from real-life experiences, community service, leadership, social issues, and a strong desire to inspire positive change. Through his work, he seeks to preserve meaningful experiences while encouraging young people to embrace service, resilience, leadership, and personal development.
Ali has held several youth leadership positions. He served as Students’ Union Government (SUG) President during the 2024/2025 academic session and later served as Corps Liaison Officer (CLO) for Bunkure Local Government Area, Kano State, Nigeria. He is also the Founder of the Potiskum Writers Forum, an initiative dedicated to encouraging literary expression and nurturing writers.
Beyond writing, Ali is passionate about education, public speaking, youth empowerment, human rights, and community development. He believes in the transformative power of words—not only to entertain, but also to educate, inspire, challenge injustice, preserve experiences, and contribute to meaningful social change.
