Until the second Donald Trump’s Presidency, honestly, I had believed in the hill of beans that white America sold the world about who they are. They had told us that they loved liberty so much that they were willing to stand up and fight and die for it.
All over the world, people rise and demonstrate and fight until they obtain democracy, so one had believed that anyone who threatened American democracy would be fought. As John Stuart Mill had told us in his book, On Liberty, and Thomas Paine pretty much said the same thing in his book, Common Sense, the tree of liberty is watered with patriots’ blood. Therefore, one expected that anyone who dared to try to tamper with American democracy- that white Americans would fight and die, and their blood would water the tree of American democracy.
Then, on January 20, 2025, Donald Trump returned to power and brought a sledgehammer and knocked down the guardrails of American democracy.
Some federal district and appellate courts dared to overrule some of his most outrageous measures. The Supreme Court is essentially in the pocket of the Republican Party, which packed it with party thugs, so it is now an insult to call it a court of law.
The Democratic Party, as usual, is spineless and always asks how high they should jump if the Republicans ask them to jump, so they spinelessly went along with the outrages of Trump.
Trump now rules by administrative fiat, unchallenged by anyone!
Indeed, the man has even formed his own private Army, ICE, just as Adolf Hitler did in Germany, the Gestapo.
ICE is a bunch of street thugs running around like lawless goon squads, kidnapping brown people and keeping them in concentration camps before they are sent home.
I did not believe that what I saw going on in America could happen in my wildest nightmarish dreams. How could this happen, I asked?
I was told by some black folks that as long as something happens to black people, white America will tolerate it because white members of the two parties, Republicans and Democrats, are essentially the same faction: a left and right faction of the same faction, the faction that exists as a means for white America to dominate non- white Americans.
But what happens when some Americans take away American democracy? I was told that there had never been democracy in America.
I was told that what existed in the country is oligarchy, a bunch of white rich and powerful people controlling the country, using the military, police, and judicial system to implement their agenda.
Nevertheless, I had expected white America to rise and fight and die for democracy. After all, they were all over the world fighting for America’s economic hegemony. There are over 700 American military outposts all over the world, and from there they operate in every country in the world, destabilizing them and going in to change the governments of countries perceived to be hostile to US economic interests.
Trump’s military recently kidnapped Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela, so much for international law and order and the concept of sovereignty.
If you are perceived to be a bit socialist, they simply remove you, even kill you, as they did to Salvador Aleander of Chile, Patrice Lumumba of Congo, and Mohammad Mossadegh of Iran in 1953.
There is no doubt that Europeans traditionally fought and died for their kings; European kings went to war, and their minions fought and died for them. It was attributed to the idea of the divine right of kings, the belief that the king is a steward of God and whatever he wanted, the people did for him. This was expected in Europe.
But in America, one had expected the military to stand for democracy, not to fight and die for their new fascist ruler. The American military is currently fighting for its Der Führer in Iran.
I personally do not trust the theocratic rulers of Iran because they are Muslim tyrants who would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons on us Christians, so in a way I am in support of Trump’s war against Iran; in fact, I will go even further and ban Islam in America and Europe because that religion is not compatible with democracy; read the Quran and find out passages asking believers to obey only their law (Sharia and hadith).
I would have liked it if Congress declared that war, not one man.
Why does the US military obey a man who is destroying their country’s democracy? Is this what America is all about? The American military fights for their king or king-wannabe Trump, but not for what is good for the people.
I used to have trouble understanding why intellectual white Americans stood by as the slave owners had slaves and tolerated discrimination against black folks. Now I understand why they did so: they are cowards; they lack the backbone to stand up for the truth of human equality and fair treatment of all people.
What is good for all Americans and what all right-thinking Americans ought to fight for is the government giving all Americans publicly paid health care, publicly paid education at all levels, including university and vocational schools, subsidizing public transportation in the cities, subsidizing housing for the poor and elderly, and making sure that millions of Americans are not homeless, living on the streets and in the forests of America.
Now I understand why America’s rulers have not done for the people what their cousins did in Europe; I had thought that it is because of the presence of black Americans that they do not give all Americans publicly paid education and health care; now I know that it is because they are bloody cowards.
White Americans are capital cowards who do not stand up and fight for economic and social justice. They are therefore contemptible people. No human being should ever admire these cowards; these people are not what human beings ought to be.
The noble claptraps they marketed to the world as who they are, they are not. They are not a democratic people; they are not a just people; they are simply slaves (not just black but white Americans).
They are people to be corrected, resocialized, and made true human beings; as of now, they are not true human beings!
The American empire is the empire of slaves, the empire of cowards.
Therefore, all humanity must work together to finally resocialize these brutes and transform them into real human beings.
Human beings know that all people, regardless of their race and gender, are the same and equal; hence, treat all people equally, giving public jobs to those who merit them, not merely to club members.
In America, you have to be white to be given certain types of jobs, and the world is told that they did so based on the supposed superior intelligence of white people. Is Donald Trump not a moron? Are his cabinet members not the cabinet of dunces? Who is deceiving whom?
It’s now time to civilize these neanderthals masquerading as real human beings. This time they cannot cry that the person criticizing them is a socialist trying to destroy their economic system.
By conviction, I accept the capitalist political economy, but one that is regulated, where, while allowing people to pursue their economic interests, certain provisions must be made for all citizens: such as publicly paid education for all, and health care for all, etc.
If this empire of dunces and cowards is not redirected, it is going to self-destruct in a few decades and get replaced by China and India. This need not be.
For it not to be, white America must, for once in its existence, stand up and fight for social and economic justice in the country.
