WE ARE ALWAYS PERFECT, ENLIGHTENED, ILLUMINATED, AND JOINED TO GOD BUT MASK IT WITH EGO, REMOVE THE EGO AND KNOW THAT WE ARE ALREADY ENLIGHTENED AND PERFECT

God created us as extensions of him; he is in us, and we are in him; we cannot separate from him; we are ideas in God’s mind; ideas leave not their source.
As God created us, in him, we are always perfect, joined, enlightened, and illuminated. While in that state of spiritual perfection and illumination we pretend to be separated from God hence imperfect.
We are perfect and enlightened in spirit but imperfect and unenlightened in ego and body; remove the wish for the ego separated self and body; do not defend your ego and body when other egos and bodies attack it, and you experience your already there perfection and enlightenment.
You need do nothing new to experience atonement (at-onement) for you are always at one with God and all his creation; what you must do is undo what you did; you made the ego and body; now, remove them and stop masking God and his son that is your real self, and you experience him.
A course in miracles workbook lessons 1 and 32 said that:
Nothing I see in the world means anything. I give everything I see all the meaning it has for me. Lesson 32 said that I invented everything in the world; I invented material things, space, time and body to use them to give me the impression that I am separated from my real self, the son of God who is always in God and cannot be where God is not.
What I invented, the universe, does not actually exist but seems to exist as an illusion, in a dream; the ego, body, matter, space and time that I made are all dream figures that exist in my dream of separation but do not exist.
Since I have already made them, and they seem to exist, I now must see them as neutral (not means of veiling God, not means of preventing love for God and all his creation) and let my right mind, the Holy Spirit, Christ reinterpret them for me, project a different meaning to them, use them as means of loving me and all my brothers. If I do so I see them in glorified light forms; they are still nothing but now are beautiful nothing.
A forgiven and loving world becomes a happy dream, a happy illusion, a happy madness until I am ready to become healed when I let go of all perception, all unhealed and healed perception and awaken to the perfect, enlightened self that is always there as one with God, he is always in God and cannot leave God; there is nowhere for him to go to since God is everywhere.
Enlightenment means removing what (ego and body) prevents the light of God (union of God and his son as oneself) that is always in us so that we now live as the formless unified spirit light self that is God, our real self.
