The parable of the prodigal son reinterpreted

THE STORY OF THE PRODIGAL SON IS A METAPHOR OF US GOING OUTSIDE US TO EXPERIENCE A DIFFERENT WORLD AND NEED TO RETURN BACK TO OUR INNER SELF TO LIVE AS OUR REAL SELF

The parables of Jesus Christ can be interpreted in many ways, each suiting a person’s current level of understanding.

The parable of the prodigal son is a son of God, me, you, who left inside him, separated from his real self and God, that is inside him,  and thought that there is an external world and there is none so he invented our universe of space, time and matter and lived in it as an ego separated self-walking around in space, time and matter; eventually, his suffering in the world led him to realize that there is no external world, that he had gone on a journey without distance, gone to nowhere for when he believed that he was in a different universe he was always inside his father as the son of God, his real self, so, he tuned out the external universe and gave up his ego separated self and awakened to  the internal universe, to his real self which is a union of his self, his siblings and father and in that unified spirit self-had abundance, peace and joy (the feast given to him  by his father when he returned from his journey away from his unified reality).

From the perspective of empiricism, science the above is absolute bunkum. Science’s frame of reference is the phenomenal world, what we can see and verify; it is a necessary frame of reference and has improved our world immeasurably; we must cling to science and not return to religions’ superstitions.

As science sees it, the universe has been around for 13.8 billion years and will last more trillions of years; the stars will gradually die and the elements decay to particles and particles decay to light, radiation and the universe dies in cold radiation, Big Chill. All these are true.

Metascience merely responds with the notion that the trillions of years of science are taking place right now, in our collective dreams.

We do not have to argue; I personally accept the scientific paradigm of reality as well as the meta-scientific paradigm of reality; I hold the two in my mind.

Clearly, I reinterpreted the story of the prodigal son with my current metaphysical frame of reference that sees this world as a dream; those who see this world as real will not even know what I am talking about much more agree with me; the world is an interpretation, what it is we do not know; each of us relates to the world according to his interpretation of what it means to him.

THERE IS NO EXTERNAL WORLD AND PEOPLE DOING THINGS TO ME, I AM IN GOD AND SLEEPING AND PROJECTED OUT THE SEEMING EXTERNAL WORLD THAT I SEE AND I DID TO ME WHAT ALL PEOPLE DID TO ME FOR IT IS MY DREAM

There is no external world and there are no people doing things, good or bad, to me; it is my dream; I projected out the external world and projected out people who did good or bad to me as they projected me out to do what I did to them.

Therefore, there is no one to blame or praise; what needs to be done is for me to wake up from the dream; awake, the world and people disappear and I experience my unified real self and stop attacking me in the dream of separation where I see people do nasty things to me thus making me angry at them and justifying my anger at them when it is me who attacked me through other people; and they too hurt their dream selves through seeming other persons; there is no world and no one is doing anything but we believe that the world exists and that we are doing things to each other.

In my dream I made work organizations that did not hire me do so; I did not want to work there but since I was qualified, I felt angry at those who did not hire me when, in fact, it is me who did not hire me there.

ANY UNIVERSE AWAY FROM THE UNION OF GOD AND HIS SON IS NOWHERE AND IS DARKNESS

Light exists only in the union of God and his son as one shared self. Anywhere else, such as separated ego and world is darkness and does not exist; we take the light of God that we are into the darkness of the separated universe that we go to. We are, therefore, the light of the dark universe we live in.
