The ego is addictive

THE EGO LIKES TO BE STUDIED; IT MAKES YOU STUDY IT FOREVER AND EVER AND THUS MAKE IT REAL FOR YOU; JUST LET IT GO; IT IS NOT REAL, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO UNDERSTAND AND IMPROVE IT

The ego likes for one to study it; it will keep showing some unknown aspects of it to be understood hence studied. It wants you to study it indefinitely.

In perpetually studying it and, of course, not fully understanding or changing it, it remains real for you.

Please notice that after over one hundred and twenty years of studying the ego by Western psychology, from Sigmund Freud to the present (2022), no one really has understood or changed the ego in any patient, neurotic, or psychotic. Therefore, do not kowtow to the ego and study it forever.

Thinking and studying the ego’s problems makes it real for one. The ego is not real. It does not exist.

The son of God in one, who is one’s real self, went to sleep and in his sleep used light energy to produce matter and used matter to construct a body for itself and seem to have entered body and now acts as a separated self in a separated world.

The one son of God now sees itself in infinite selves (at the matter level, one particle of light became all the galaxies, stars, planets, plants and animals and all material things).

Therefore, one needs to do what wise Hindu, Buddhist and Taoist people do, recognize the ego as an illusion that does not exist but seem to exist and ignore it, overlook it, keep quiet, and try to live from one’s real self, the one son of God who in his sleep dream is all of us.

In body, one can be guided by the light of God in one, the Holy spirit and one lives as the Christ, Buddha, the loving self, not the hateful ego.

The point is that one should not give in to the ego’s desire to be studied and talked about ad infinitum. Give up the ego, let it return into the mist from which, in our dreams that we are separated selves in bodies, we conjured it out from.

Let go of the ego and return to the awareness of you being a part of one formless unified spirit self (God).

CONCLUSION

Did I make sense in what I said above? To the ego the answer is that I did not make sense. Therefore, I return to thinking about the ego and try to make sense of it and fall into its trap of making me see it as real by thinking about it.

The ego is a senseless thing (it is the product of oneself, the son of God now believing that he is separated into infinite selves, each housed in a body, living in a separated universe of space, and time, none of which is true) and can never make sense regardless of how much you ponder it; so, just let it go and live quietly, lovingly,  freely and peacefully.

This is the wisdom of Zen Buddhism. There is no separated self so do not think about it, do not think about an illusion to make it seem real to you; no amount of thinking about it can make the unreal ego real.
