People have need to believe in gods that created them

HUMAN BEINGS HAVE A NEED TO BELIEVE THAT SOME OTHER BEINGS CREATED THEM

People used to believe that the gods created them. Science dismantled the existence of God. Instead of accepting that they were not created by more powerful beings, these days even some scientists speculate that powerful beings from other dimensions or from other parts of our universe created us and created our universe.  Some speculate that aliens from more advanced civilizations in our three-dimensional universe created us (the Anunnaki’s, for example.). No one has ever seen these supposed creators.

Why don’t we just posit a hypothesis that there is formless intelligence in the universe and that that intelligence is in us and in all things, and that it interacts with energy and matter and uses it to create forms (bodies) and live in them. That is, we, as part of universal intelligence created us but not the us that we know of, for the us that we know of is not that smart to create anything yet but will probably do so in the future.

AMERICANS ORGANIZED THEIR SOCIETY WITH FORCE BUT MUST NOW DO SO WITH CONSCIOUS LOVE

Ozodi Osuji

White America had police; with police and its courts and prisons it intimidated white folks into behaving according to the laws made by the powerful in society, laws that serve the interests of the powerful at the expense of the weak; they used pure terror to terrorize black folks into becoming their slaves and in the present be their second class persons; their police, judges and prison wardens exist to continue that terrorization of black folks in different forms.

It is obvious that American society and Western society in general is dependent on police force to make it seem to work.

African societies used to depend on the agency of superstition, gods, to help them intimidate people into obeying the laws, if you disobeyed the laws the gods allegedly killed you…and if you believed it, you died…I understand the religious business because my family, for hundreds of years, were their people’s high priests.

It seems to me that Americans ought to consciously try to engender a sense of oneness in their diverse population by preaching a social philosophy of oneness and inclusion.

Religion makes a bit of that effort to make people feel one, but it is now time to go beyond religion and consciously tell people that they are one and ought to love one another, tell them that antisocial behaviors are aberrations (which must be punished).
