It takes force to topple old political orders

POLITICAL SYSTEMS ARE CHANGED BY REVOLUTIONS, FORCE, NOT BY MERE WISHFUL THINKING

Ozodi Osuji

Rome (475 CE) was destroyed by those it exploited and who resented it. A revolution changed the monarchical and aristocratic political systems in France (1789), Russia (1918) and, up to a point, British ruled North America (1776).

To change America’s capitalist political economy, the invested stakeholders in the system must be thrown out by revolution, not by mere wishful and magical thinking.

Capitalists are totally invested in their exploitative system and believe that it is the best economic system, even as half of the population live in poverty. Mere idealistic wishing for a just country will not lead them to change the system.

You have two options: (1) adapt to the exploitative system and be like an American, a partially alive person; the American is not fully alive, a fully alive person cares for all human beings, or (2) struggle to change the political economy to a mixed capitalist and socialist economic system, like what they have in Scandinavian countries. If you choose social democracy, be prepared to be killed by the gatekeepers of the vicious egoistic system called capitalism; if you seriously challenge capitalism its proponents will first marginalize you, deny you jobs and if that does not work on getting you to recant and be like the living dead persons called Westerners, they will kill you.

Similarly, the Fulani rulers of Nigeria are not going to give up ruling the country unless they are forced to do so by a violent revolution; mere talk does not change entrenched political systems; those benefiting from the political order fight to maintain it.

Peter Obi is riding on the wave of Nigerian youths’ wish for a nonviolent change of Nigeria; that is probably not going to happen because the Fulani rulers of Nigeria are not going to relinquish their control peacefully; those in power do not give it up peacefully.

In 2023, if another born to rule Fulani wins the election, young Nigerians ought to become realistic and start forming revolutionary groups and seek forceful ways to fight and change their country.

If they have not suffered enough, yet, or think that they can still escape to Europe and North America, they will tolerate whoever wins the election; but if they feel their backs against the wall they will fight for their lives and freedom.

AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES DO NOT THINK; AMERICAN LIBERALS SEEM ABLE TO THINK BUT CHOOSE TO GO ALONG WITH CONSERVATIVES; CONSERVATIVES FIGHT FOR GOALS; LIBERALS DO NOT FIGHT FOR ANY WORTHWHILE GOALS; AMERICA NEEDS SOCIAL DEMOCRATS TO FIGHT FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE

What is obvious to pure reason, American conservatives would not see and do, such as give all Americans publicly paid health care and publicly paid education at all levels. They prefer to go to other countries to recruit their best minds, trained by those other countries, to come and prop up their capitalist economy.

Liberals, Democrats seem under a spell and cannot wake up from the sleepwalking that conservatives are under; liberals lack the courage to do the right thing.

Look at Joseph Biden, he cannot even make up his mind to forgive student loans for the young persons who voted for him; they will not vote for him, again, and Republicans will win come November 2022.

Look at Biden’s half dead attorney general; that man seems a coward and does not have the ability to take decisive action to prevent future presidents from dismantling the American political system and turning it into a fascist state. I hear that the man is a Jew (?); if so, does he not understand that a fascist mob, that stormed Capitol hill, on January 6, 2021, and wanted to hang Mike Pence, one of their fellow gentiles, will not hesitate in hanging a Jew!

The salient point is that Americans appear incapable of political action to improve their country and will keep muddling through, engage in incremental actions that do not meaningfully alter the system, until the country declines and collapses.

I do not expect change in America because the people seem under a magical spell, a spell leading them to only one end, self-destruction; let it be, one does not, as they say, cry for Argentina.

Old exploitative political systems will keep exploiting the people until a considerable number of the people are no longer benefiting from it and they pick up arms and fight with the systems maintainers and the result is revolution, At the end of which is a new political order.

From the ashes of the USA, a mixed capitalist and socialist and social democratic polity will rise, and this will happen in this very century, after an interregnum of fascist rule, and they finally realize that the Trumpian fascism that they are tempted to try, to preserve white supremacy, is not a lasting political order.
