Glorifying the self in lieu of glorifying God

NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS SAY TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY; THIS MEANS THAT THEY ARE SAYING TO ME BE ALL THE GLORY, THEY ARE SHOWING THEIR EGOISM IN THAT SEEMING ATTRIBUTION OF GLORY TO GOD; GOD DOES NOT NEED US TO GLORIFY HIM; HE NEEDS US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER

These days, when you are with Nigerian Christians, they are likely to say:” to God be the glory” for what they consider to be their achievements and for their birthdays. This would seem humble recognition of a greater power overseeing their lives, but when you evaluate their behaviors closely you find that they are the most unhumble, the most narcissistic human beings in the world.

Talking about glory to God is projection of what they seek, power and glory, to God, to hide what they seek.

Nigerians are the most power and importance seeking people on planet earth (seriously, have you run into a humble Nigerian, don’t they all want to be called Chief, Dr. Professor important person?).

Nigerians’ fool no one with their outwards religiosity. Give them a chance and they would be catching their people and selling them into slavery; as it is, many of them use their people in rituals to make money, with which to gratify their insatiable desire for power and importance.

Nigerians need to be taught to let go of their insane egos and how to embrace Christ; Christ is love, so we are not talking silly religion but how to love all people and work for their good, not just for one’s ego glory hidden with attribution of glory to non-existent God.

God is not so weak and pathologically narcissistic that he needs your constant praise to make him feel good; what he asks you to do is love all people to love him for he is all people.

God is the whole so you must love the whole people to love God. Bear grievances against one or more persons and since they are part of God you bear grievances against God.
