The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate how President Buhari should have used the Nnamdi Kanu episode as a governance tool, but failed to do so. Nigerian leadership and government led by Buhari could have handled the situation expertly, mobilized the nation in unity, and come out smelling good to the whole world. Alas, they failed the test.
