WRITERS-PLEASE READ. People rarely read Web pages word by word; instead, they scan the page, picking out individual words and sentences. In research on how people read websites we found that 79 percent of our test users always scanned any new page they came across; only 16 percent read word-by-word. (Update: a newer study found that users read email newsletters even more abruptly than they read websites.) As a result, Web pages have to employ scannable text, using highlighted keywords (hypertext links serve as one form of highlighting; typeface variations and color are others) meaningful sub-headings (not "clever" ones) bulleted…
After logging in, placing an article is a simple process. We have enabled a simple to use editor for you to paste your articles simply and quickly. After loging in, you will be directed to our writer’s page that contains helpful articles for our writers. In the orange boxes to the left, simply click Add Article, place your article, give it a title, add some tags, and then finally choose a category. Save it and close your editor. In a few minutes, the article will appear live on our site. For more details, please check my video tutorial below.
At ChatAfrik, we strive to bring the highest quality articles to our readers, and we enforce strict guidelines on all of our writers. We do encourage a variety of material, and none of our articles are censored, but we do require a few basics. All writers must have an Avatar or profile picture. We encourage all articles to contain an image, and or video. Additional links to relevant material is encouraged. No plagiarism or theft of others articles, ever! Please fill out your details accurately and feel free to add a link to your web site in the appropriate place.
