To be fearless one must love all people

Most People Are Held Back By Fear But Occasionally A Person Overcomes Fear And Lives More Fully

Ozodi Osuji

As I look at people around me they seem to live ordinary lives; their lives are held back by fear of this or fear of that; most are not even aware that they are held back by fear and live like animals in a kind of stimulus-response manner; something scares them and they run away and do not process the fear and try to live fearlessly.  This is how most mankind lives.

Occasionally, a human being comes to earth and lives fearlessly; we call such a person an extraordinary person; such a person passes through planet earth, may be, once every one thousand years. I am one such person that comes through the earth once in thousands of years.

BOTH WHITE AND BLACK FOLKS DO THEIR EVIL DUE TO LIVING IN FEAR

The typical white person lives in fear; most of his evils are motivated by fear; the typical black person lives in fear and most of his evils are motivated by desire to live in fear and survive in fear. It is actually fear that makes black people live as slaves and second class citizens.

In Nigeria, for example, most people live as slaves and are afraid to do something about the criminals that rule them; they fear that if they speak up they would be arrested and jailed or killed.

In the USA it was fear that made Africans to tolerate slavery and currently accept white abuses of them.

TO LIVE IN FEAR ONE DOES NOT LIVE IN LOVE, FOR FEAR IS THE ABSENCE OF LOVE

If you do not live in fear you will live in love, for love is the absence of fear; fear is the presence of lovelessness.

If you are a loving person you cannot live in fear, for fear is the opposite of love, and love is the opposite of fear.

To live in fear you must believe that you are separated from other people and from God (God is anthropomorphication of the whole); to live in love you must accept that you are unified with all people and with God.

I love all people and have always done so all my life. I do not acknowledge race. I have never seen people as whites or blacks etc.; since I was a kid I have always seem all people, regardless of their race and gender, as one with me.

TO BE INTIMIDATED BY THOSE WITH THE CAPACITY FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST YOU, YOU MUST FEAR DEATH

I have always been amused by those in power who kind of think that they can intimidate folks with force and threat of violence and death. For example, the governments of this world have military and police and use those to harass the people; they establish courts and appoint judges who send those who engage in antisocial behaviors to jails and prisons.

I accept the need for law and order in society and the apparatus for getting people to abide by law. But at the personal level I am not intimidated by police, military, judges, courts, jails and prisons. Indeed, a police man is no more than a thug doing what his master, the person who hired him, ask him to do. Judges are to me clowns putting poor people into jails while letting rich folks to get away with murder. Prison wardens to me are sub human beings, animals really, I have total contempt for them, yet in as much as people have freedom and some will engage in antisocial behaviors and we need to put such persons away society needs prisons and prison guards.

I am not intimidated by threat of violence to me; I have already accepted my personal death so you cannot make me fearful by threatening to kill me.

TO BE FEARLESS YOU MUST REJECT THAT YOU ARE BODY AND EGO

So, how does one avoid not living in fear? To live fearlessly  one must not identify with body and ego; one must tell one's self that one is not one's body and that one is spirit; one must tell one's self that as spirit one is not subject to harm by what harms one's body, including death of  one's body; ones physical death does not kill one.

Body and ego dies but something in one does not die.

Affirm:   I am not body and the ego self; I am an eternal spirit; I am one with unified spirit self.

The ego self, the human personality was produced by one's body. One must believe that one is an eternal spirit and live as such; if one truly sees one's real self as eternal one would live a different life, different from the fear driven animal life that ordinary human beings live.

You can do what I do: I tell myself that I am born and must die so why should I fear death? Why should I allow those who can destroy my body threaten me? If you want to kill me go right ahead and do so, do it now, and I would not give a damn about it. You merely shortened how long I live in body; to live in body is to live in pain so killing me is to reduce the length of time I live in pain hence is doing me a favor.

METAPHYSICS

It helps if one has a well-articulated metaphysics. I have a well-articulated philosophy of life on earth, life in the intermediate world of light forms and life in formless unified spirits self (what folks call God and heaven). Please see my metaphysics articulated in several places.

If you believe in my metaphysics you would not give in to fear; you would live more fully, doing whatever is in you to do and what you believe is true.
