Lessons from Trump calling African countries shitholes

LESSONS FOR AFRICANS FROM TRUMP'S PERCEPTION OF AFRICAN COUNTRIES AS SHITHOLES

In a meeting at the White House on Thursday, January 11, 2018, to discuss US immigration policy, President Donald J. Trump asked why the US should accept immigrants from the shithole countries in Africa, Haiti and El Salvador and why not just restrict immigration to white countries like Norway.

This is clearly a racist comment; it shows that Trump does not like folks from shithole countries in Africa but likes people from white Norway.

I doubt that there is a human being out there who already does not know that Trump is a racist. Every time the dumb childman (Trump is emotionally a ten years old child in a seventy one years old man's body) opens his mouth racist ideas fly out of it.

Trump's campaign slogan to "make America great, again" was a code phrase to make white America great, again.

Barack Obama was the African President of America and racist white America wanted to take back America from blacks; most black folks knew what the brain dead, fat slob and his Birtherism movement were up to.

Trump is an example of the fact that the dumber a person is the more racist or ethnicist he is. White racists tend to be dumb white folks just as African tribalists tend to be dumb Africans.

Rational people tend to relate to human beings on individual basis not group basis. You judge a person by his character not by his race or gender.

My goal here is really not to quarrel with dumb Drumpf (Drumpf was his German name before he anglicized it to Trump) but to ask African leaders whether they have shame at all and whether now that they are told that their countries are shitholes they would finally feel motivated to care for their people and develop Africa instead of being bloody thieves who steal their peoples moneys and do nothing to develop their continent.

Nigeria, for example, has generated sufficient moneys from its oil industry that if its leaders were governing that shithole the country would be at the level of, say, South Korea and Taiwan but where is she? She still has people, as Trump said, who upon visiting the USA do not want to return to living in huts in their country.

So, what would it take for African leaders to realize that the white man sees Africans as primitives and savages and resolve to develop their continent and bring it to par with the rest of the world?

With good leadership and resolve there is no doubt that Africa can be modernized within fifty years?

Ghana obtained its independence from Britain in 1957 and other African countries followed suite. Thus, for sixty years Africans have been ruling themselves (European colonial masters were in Africa for about sixty years).

Sixty years is long enough for African countries to have modernized their economies but to the contrary all we hear is stories of how corrupt the leaders are and how they redirect the monies that could have gone to developing Africa to their private pockets.

African leaders masquerade around as African big men.  Apparently, the fools do not realize that as long as Africa is poor and African immigrants are drowning in the Mediterranean Sea trying to crash into Europe that Africa would be called a shithole. If they did not know now the shit head called Trump has told them so; may be now they know and will roll up their sleeves and develop their shitty countries.

It is time for Africa to be developed so that Africans stopped trying to come to live in the well-developed shit holes like the USA.

With a social democratic and mixed economic agenda Africa can be developed in fifty years; this was done in Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries and can be replicated in Africa.

Why is it exactly difficult to develop African countries? If there were leaders in Africa they would have done what needed to be done.

First, accept that society must provide all children with publicly paid education and health insurance; then build elementary schools, secondary schools, universities and technical schools to accommodate all young people of school age.

All children from age six to eighteen must be at either elementary or secondary schools.  There got to be enough universities so that 33% of top secondary school graduates go to universities and the rest go to technical schools where they learn trades to enable them earn a decent living.

Second, industrialize the continent. It is possible to industrialize the entire continent in twenty years. This way folks have opportunity to compete for jobs.

Third, build infrastructure, such as roads, freeways, seaports, airports, railways, hospitals, electricity and pipe borne water for all Africans.

Given the massive number of unemployed young people in Africa Africans can use them to construct highways from one end of Africa to another (of course build cement factories and iron and steel industries needed to produce the cement and steel required by the roads).

So, what exactly is so difficult about providing all Africans with elementary schooling, secondary schooling, vocational training and university education for the third of the human population that can benefit from higher education?

What is so difficult in providing all Africans with electricity, water, good transportation (railways, road systems, airports, seaports)? What are so difficult about doing these simple things if Africans really want to do them?

If you have travelled to the West and Latin America you know that at airports Western and Latin immigration officers treat Africans like shit; they subject Africans to humiliating questions and treatment.

So, why don't these insults motivate Africans to develop their countries in a hurry so that no one would treat their people like garbage?

Instead, what we hear is stories of tribalism, how Hausas and Yorubas do not want to develop Igbo land; this assumes that Hausa land and Yoruba land is being developed. Of course, Hausa land and Yorubaland are not more developed than Igbo land.

If you do not want to develop a part of your country you will not develop your own part of the country. That is the way the universe works, for what you do to other people you have effectively done to you.

May be some good will come out of dumb Trump's mealy mouthed desecration of Africa: motivate the shitheads that rule Africa to develop Africa in a hurry; and in so doing Africans avoid being subjected to insults from dumb white folks like dumb Trump.
